This may have been one of the last photos I took of him. My Lolo was always the cutest! I regret not taking as much photos as I could of him. I’m missing him so much today.

How amazing would it be to have someone who’d sing you this song and mean it…. *sigh*

This is based on how two people could still be a great couple no matter how opposite they are. If one person hates olives and the other loves them, this is what makes them a great couple, perfect balance.

A lot of people say that “nothing lasts forever…”
But my parents never fail to make me believe that some things do.

Today is the 23th wedding anniversary of my parents. On regular days, my mom and dad would usually just have buttered toast or oatmeal for breakfast, prepared by whoever wakes up earlier. But since today is extra special, my mom made Cinnamon French Toast for two, they both sat down at a specially placed table setting, and even took photos of the moment. How cute is that?

My dad is usually the first one on the desktop every morning.. Yesterday, after my dad’s turn with the computer, my mom went on to use the desktop to find the wallpaper on the monitor changed to a message that read “I ♥ Mariel”. That’s my moms name. Isn’t my dad just the sweetest thing?

I know these things are just as simple as can be. But sometimes, just finding the time to make someone feel that they are remembered, even in just the simplest way you can, is what makes them feel so special.

This just proves, once again, that the littlest and simplest gestures can even be the sweetest ones.

So, yes. It is possible that even after 23 years of marriage, two people can still be as much in love as they are.
